Hello.

I just had a few questions for whoever may have the answer for me. I've tried contacting CIC call agents for an appropriate answer but all they tell me is that it's up to the immigration officers at point of entry.

I am a Canadian citizen, my husband is American, I am 29 weeks pregnant and he was just recently here on a 10 month visitors record but has left the country on time and is currently in the United States. He wants to come back in a month for a 3 month stay so he can be here for the birth of his first child.

Would if be wise to inform the immigration officer about my pregnancy and our relationship? Or should he just keep that disclosed unless asked about it? If he has proof of a return ticket and letters from a landlord and or job will this help his case to get those 90 days with me? Will the fact that he was here for 10 months but left Canada on time also help his case? We were looking into applying for his permanent residence while he was away but heard that if an application was in process there was a higher chance of refusal at point of entry so we decided to wait. If anyone has any advice or information I would greatly appreciate it. :)

Thank you.
