I am pregnant with my first child, and came to canada for my delivery. I want my husband to come visit me to take care of me and my child during postpartum. I am a canadian citizen and my husband has no desire of moving to Canada or for me to sponser him atm. I have already applied for his TRV with the help of an immigration lawyer. I was wondering what the chances would be for my husband to get his visitor visa. Our nationality is Pakistani

You've already applied + your immigration lawyer must have addressed the possible concerns which the visa officer will have. If you hadn't applied, we could have given a few suggestions

Well we've already applied once in 2016 and it got rejected, the reason being was that he did not have sufficient funds. Also his purpose of travel last time was just leisurely. But this time around we have a proper reason for him to visit so even though we've applied I was still hoping to get an opinion or something from anyone if visa officers put this reason into consideration.
