Dear all,

Kindly help with the below:
My husband is the primary applicant, We are currently 7 months pregnant. Expected date of delivery : 23 April 2020. We are not in a situation to soft land before delivery.

09 Jan 2020 : Received PPR
16 Jan 2020 : Sent email and webform to Abu Dhabi visa office informing pregnancy and expected due date, asking for further instructions
09 Feb 2020 : Last date to submit passports for COPR

Concern facing : Haven’t received any response from Abu Dhabi immigration/visa office until now. Other than the below automated message;

The Visa Section has received your email. Due to the large volume of emails, it may take up to 15 business days for our response; do not send repeated enquiries. Please note we will not respond to emails relating to information that is already on our website (www.uae.gc.ca or www.cic.gc.ca), or status of applications within our standard processing times.

What do we do now ?

1. Wait for visa office response even if it exceeds the deadline mentioned on the PPR ?

2. Send the passports for COPR? and inform visa office after birth of child and interest to reopen application to add child.

your help will be highly appreciated

Most likely they will respond before 9th Feb. However, you can send your passports just in case, say by 8th Feb. As long as you don't actually land before the birth of your child, the child can still be added to your application without any problem.

Provided the COPR didn't expire.

So your COPR will likely expire on August 1, 2020. You should have plenty of time to deliver and then add the child to your COPR.
