it doesn't change anything ( if anything, it will serve as an additional proof that you are in a genuine relationship), so go ahead! and in your case, if you're already residing in Canada, you should be covered for your pregnancy for healthcare already... if your baby is born in Canada and you're canadian, then the baby is canadian, no need to sponsor him/her.Foster said:

The new rule means that certain sponsored spouses must stay with their sponsor for two years after landing in order to keep their PR status. However some exemptions apply. For example, if you have been married for more than two years this rule does not apply to you. Also, if you have children together this rule does not apply to you.
