Hi, I just recently received PPR and waiting for my COPR. My wife and son who are listed in my application as non-accopanying are staying back home. We are actually trying to have another baby before I move to Canada. I would like to know
Do we need to update CIC about the pregnancy? Or
Is it okay to update CIC after the birth of the baby?
If I have to update the CIC about the pregnancy will it cause any problem?
I assume I will not receive my PR card by the time we are pregnant.
Very stressed about the whole situation..... PLEASE HELP!!!

IRCC doesn't care about pregnancies. You don't have to notify them.

I don't understand your questions. What does receiving your PR card have anything to do with getting pregnant or having a baby.

Once you get your PR status (landing with your COPR), you can stay in Canad and sponsor your spouse and dependents. If your baby is born then, add him to the list of your spouse's dependents. You do not need to notify IRCC on pregnancy.
