Pregnancy and VISA Expiry

Hello

I am on spousal open work permit and my spouse is on closed work permit working as a temporary foreign worker.
I am 4 months pregnant. We have OHIP health cards for ontario.
But our visa would be expiring in june.
So if My husband's employer does not extent his visa ,what will be the options left with us ?
If the emploer doesnt extent work permit can we apply for tourist visa and deliver the child in canada?
Will I still avail the benefit of this health card that i am holding currently?

You can change your status to visitor - however you will no longer be covered by the health care program and will have to pay for the delivery out of your own pocket. If your husband's employer isn't willing to extend his permit, it might be a good idea to start looking for a new employer now. (Or make the decision to have the baby in your home country.)
