HI all, my case is bit different and I didn’t find any similar situation in the forum. Please help me if you have any of you have faced any similar situation.
Background

1. I am in canada on study permit currently living in Ontario with my wife.
2. My wife came to Canada on mid of May and since she is here on a tourist visa she can stay legally up to mid of November that is 6 months
3. Then I have applied for her work permit on mid of June. and today I have received the medical request. but recently we found out that she is pregnant and it's around 13 weeks now.
4. I found in the forum that x-ray on the chest cannot be done during pregnancy. so, we are thinking to go with the other test except for x-ray. so, an x-ray can be done after she delivers the baby.
Questions:
============
1. Her work permit application will be on hold until that date and the expected date supposed to be mid of May 2018.?
2. Will she able to stay here in Canada legally till our baby is born? While her work permit application is on hold for full medical test?
