Has anyone went through med exam and chest xray when they're pregnant?
If the doctor send a pregnancy deferral letter, does the PR application for the family becomes on hold until completion of the xray?

Yes- some people go through the chest x-ray even though they are pregnant. Most doctors recommend against this due to concerns the x-ray may harm the baby.

Yes - the PR application is placed on hold until the x-ray is completed.

So how does it work? We go to the doctor's office and sends all data via their to CIC directly, and what do I get and how to upload it to my eAPR?

I'm main applicant, wife and child with me.

Yes. Getting it done at a hospital which is already on the eMedical system is the beat way. They'll give you an up-front medical notification printout which you upload in the designated placeholder.

Dont they directly upload the medicals to eMedical system?
I do not think as an applicant, we have to do anything.

Even if they are on eMedical, you'll still carry back 1 sheet that you'll have to upload under the designated placeholder in your MyCIC profile. The reports are uploaded directly by the hospital and you don't get any of those.

I am sorry, my bad. The process has certainly changed for express entry.
I was talking from my experience with FSW.

Cheers.

thanks guys. I guess our application will be on hold for at least 4 months.

having a child with asthma, does that raise concern and potential for rejection?

unlikely. asthma's a fairly common condition, unless its extremely severe I wouldn't worry about it.
