Husband - main applicant - International Student, applied for PR under BCPNP program (paper-based, applied in December 2016)

Currently on Bridging Open Work Permit (not restricted to employer, authorized to work only in British Columbia, BOWP expires on June 7, 2018)

Received medical forms in January 2017

Passed medicals in january 2017, BUT wife didn’t do X-Ray due to Pregnancy. Her due date is in May 2018.

Notified CIC about that - they replied and said that this note was added to their application.

Questions:

  1. CIC website clearly states that in case of deferred X-Ray application will be put on hold. Does that mean that no other checks are being conducted (background/security)?

  2. What are the known consequences of deferring X-Ray due to pregnancy?

  3. Will the newborn need to pass medical? (will be born in Canada)

  4. Will parents need to undergo medicals again?

  5. Does the newborn need to be added to the Application?

  6. If newborn needs to be added to application - how would it possibly slow down the application?
