Hi all,

We received CoPR in Nov 2017. The expiry is in Oct 2018
In the meanwhile, my wife has conceived and the expected due date is Sept 2018
We wrote to CIC about our present status.
They have reopened our application and changed the status to "We are processing your application". We also received an information letter stating that they will send an official request letter requesting the additional documents to be submitted to add the child to the application.
Also since I had also sent an email to the NDVO, they have asked me to pay the replacement fee of (X 2) CAD 30 each and return the original COPR and Passports to NDVO through the VFS.
My question is that the CIC message has not asked us to either return the original documents nor pay any replacement fee of CAD 30 each.
Kindly please let me know what needs to be done. Thanks

You can't add the baby to your application before it is born. You can either wait till the baby is born or go to Canada before that and have the baby there.
