Hi everyone, this is such a rich forum. Glad I got on here. Since I dont have over 3years to join the queue with my aplication, I am wondering if anyone here has used pre-employment to immigrate to canada. my thinking is that if i have a pre arranged employment, the duration of processing my application will be shorter........maybe thru a provincial scheme or something. I really dont mind paying a firm to sort this pre-arranged employment for me as long as it works. pls let me know. thanks a whole lot in advance. I am in Nigeria.

The processing for skilled worker is the same whether you have an AEO or not. Between 6-12 months at most visa offices.

Hi PMM, thanks for that but certainly, it takes 3,4,5 or even 6 years with the visa office in accra, ghana. i have heard, seen and read more than a thousand of such cases.

How about candidates under fast track processing? Check out the processing times for last year for your visa office and then decide.

The processing times for applications submitted after 28/02/08 have not been posted as yet.
