Dear Comrade,
Hope you are all having a nice time- waiting and expecting news regarding your application from the VO
There seems to be a little misinformation regarding the processing of PRE AND POST JUNE 26, 2010 applications.
First, if you look at the PROCESSING TIMES at cic.gc.ca, you will observe there are two colums- Applications received before FEB 27,2008 and Applications received after from FEB 27 2008 to JUNE 25,2010,
You will also find the following in BOLD LETTERS

Processing times for applications received on or after June 26, 2010 are unavailable as sufficient final decision data does not exist.

In the light of the above , we shall soon have three categories of applications and each with different processing times
A careful analysis of CIC modus operandi has shown that POST JUNE applicant will have fast processing time followed by pre June 26 and the other. The good news is that the POST JUNE applicants is equal to 20000/ year. These 20000 applications will and cannot be filed at the same time or filed at one VISA OFFICE. They will be evenly spread across the VISA OFFICE though some visa office may receive more.
Consequently, the PRE JUNE and the other class will be processed in the order in which they were received subject to other factors.
Thus while priority will be given to POST JUNE 26 , the Visa Office will select and filled its quota for that year from PRE JUNE 26 and the other .

There should be no cause for alarm . All applicants will CERTAINLY AND DEFINITELY RECEIVE THEIR VISA IF THEY MEET THE REQUIREMENT IN EFFECT WHEN THEY APPLIED

IT IS JUST A MATTER OF SECONDS, MINUTES, HOURS, DAYS, WEEKS, MONTHS AND YEAR(S)

I am very relaxed and hopeful

Well said!

Thanks.

;) thanks a lot for this information..

Logical and reasonably analyzed... but the fact is many applicants have already received response on their queries from CHC and it clearly mentioned that the VO's are following MI-2 (Ministerial Instruction) for post June 2010 applicants over MI-1 (Pre June 2010) and C-50 (probably before Feb 2008) applicants. They also advised that they are not in a position to provide any idea of revised time line for MI-1 or C-50's.... Its heartbreaking... but still I hope your logic and anticipation works for us....if it does really!!!

Actually the number of FSW1 applications for post-June-26 applications from 26th June 2010 to 30th June 2011 is likely to be around only 12,000 - nowhere near the 20,000 maximum.

Not sure about post June 26 getting priority - seems to be very visa office specific and certainly at visa offices like London, Buffalo and Damascus, post June 26 applicants are certainly not getting any priority.

Wayne.

Dear Mr CAPPUCCINO

Thanks for the insight. For the year 2010/2011, the number of FSW1 is likely going to be in the range of 12000-14000.( Currently it is approximately 10,000.)

There is hope for us all .

Wishing every one a blissful week

Yes i agree with you. If the number is around 12,000 , then there is a possible for pre June 2010 to be processed alongside with post june 2010.

It will be good.

Thanks
