Hi , I recently got married in Dec 2015 in India with the person who resides in Canada. Last month he has applied for PR,after getting PR number he will apply for my visiting visa , but i have one doubt .i.e., both of us surnames are same(My father's and my husband's surname are same).Will there be any problem in issuing visiting visa.Please help.

Your surnames will not impact the visa process. However it's impossible to say if the visa will be approved. It's possible the visitor visa may be approved and it's also quite possible it will be refused. When you apply, you will need to include proof that demonstrates you have strong ties to your home country and have no plans on remaining in Canada long term.

Make sure your husband has added you to his PR application as a dependent. It's mandatory that he do this.
