Hello,

Greetings !! :)

How do we get a PR in Canada ? Please do explain in each province as I’ve seen many posts on this forum regarding the PR and many are confused. Also, in which province do we find an easy way to get a PR ?

I hope this post will help :)

Hi,

If you study a valid post secondary course in a recognized Canadian educational institute for min. 2 sem/8months/1acd. year, then international students can apply for PGWP (depending upon the length of study programme in Canada). International students can start working with PGWP and apply for PR under various student immigration programmes such as Federal CEC or other provincial nominee programmes run by he many provinces of Canada.

Here's a previous post to the official links of all student immigration programmes:

You need to go through in detail and check which immigration route will suit you best.

I got an admit from Humber - wireless telecommunications - 1 year course. I am from B.tech (electrical and electronics engineering). Will it be a course mismatch?

Hi,

Atleast by looking at the course description on Humber college website, it seems... there should be no course mismatch, as it is clearly mentioned..that this course is made for graduates of Electronics, CS and Physics.

Yes and I hope i will get the visa. Right now, my parents are making financial arrangements. Once they are done, i will file the visa :) Like everyone, my aim is to get a PR. So, job after the course will be perfect (I know it depends on our hard work, luck, contacts etc) If not, should i plan for another course ? Any other suggestions ? As it is a 1 year course, I will getting a 2 year visa.

Thank you :)

Do you think course matching means a visa? Who told you course mismatching leads to refusal? Don't you think visa is about 'potential, credentials, UG marks, genuine candidacy' ?

Hi,

Again you are spreading misinformation here. While matching course doesn't mean a definite visa..but at the same time a matching/proper course selection is one of the major factor, for the decision of granting a visa by the CHC, here in India.

Yes, visa officers look for bona fide students going to Canada, atleast the CHC here in India..decides on these factors - good profile (academic marks, IELTS, overall work ex, profile), proper course selection and strong finances.

If you are so smart... and know so much, instead of questioning, why don't you tell us.. according to you, what makes VO grant or reject a visa? huh?
