PR waiting period Jamaica?

Is what I read true, 28 months plus 2 months sponsorship for application processing? (Jamaica)

Is there an option for the married husband to temporarily study in Canada while we wait on this to process?


Dual intent?


We are unable to obtain a renewal on his temporary visa due to Dual Intent, he has too much here in Canada and nothing via Jamaica (home country). It is just very sad that the processing timelines are this intense.

Any help?

It's true that the wait times are now 27 months...I have been waiting almost 16 already. Some of us have been getting through between 12-15 months
