PR Visa stamping and COPR

Hello Guys,

So I have been asked to submit the passports for PR visa stamping. I am currently in Canada on open work permit and my spouse is in India. The request letter says to submit passport to New Delhi high commission of Canada or CPC Ottawa.

I want to know if I can submit my passport in Ottawa and my spouse will submit her passport to New Delhi?

Do we get separate COPR for me and my wife if I do above step?

Please advise.
