PR visa applied for, IEC expires in Nov

Hi everyone,

Im an Australian living in Canada and have been for 4 years, and I am currently on a IEC which is due to expire at the end of November this year. I have just sent in my PR outland via Sydney, Australia.

I am unsure what path I should go down to remain working in Canada after my current IEC visa expires in Nov. I heard that I cannot apply for bridging/open work visa as it I applied via outland?? I thought maybe just applying for another IEC is an option as I am only 27 ahould i believe I am more eligible?

Does anyone have any advice on this for me?

BOWP is only for economic PR applicants and only inland applicants can get an OWP.

Australia IEC allows you to participate more than once, so that would be your best option. If you don't get another IEC, then you will need to apply to change your status to visitor before your current IEC expires.
