unfortunately as of today november-9th-2013 COOKS are one of the 6 occupations ineligible under CEC.
check the AINP website to see if you will qualify for any of their streams.also pray hard and hope that cooks will be included in the federal skilled trades program next year, they will most likely update their NOCS in january.
do not lose any hope, when one door closes another opens.god is great.
good day. Can you please send the link of this new ruling? Is this applicable to all provinces like Nova scotia or to Alberta only?
Thanks
thats sounds is good but reality it Canada does not believe in tearscanadavisa13 said:dont lose hopes guys,
AINP has more then one stream that you can apply for on your own without help from your employer.the alberta work experience category is just a pilot project that is expected to end on november 28th 2013,as a cook if you qualify you can apply under SRS optional trade but first you need to apply to alberta apprenticeship and industry and if you pass the exam you will get an ALBERTA QUALIFICATION CERTIFICATE which will be used to get your nomination.
please note that as a cook you do not qualify under alberta employer driven stream.
best of luck to all of you and hope your pain will turn into a joy in the near future
CIC almost never announces these types of changes in advance. If they gave notice that it was happening, they would be be flooded with applications.jsm0085 said:I understand the need for CIC to make these kind of changes, but personally I think it would have been better to have given people a few weeks notice.
