I am hoping to get PPR in a month (it's just a hope, when you never know). Before that, I would like to know about landing process. I live in Canada and I am on open work permit which expires in July.
Let say I will get PPR at end of this month and passport with COPR in another 15 days means on 15th May. I would like to travel to my home country at end of may.
I would have three options after getting COPR:
1. Land on the second day and become PR and go to my home country and apply for PR travel document.
2. Go to home country and when I return, do landing process.
3. Land on the second day, become PR and wait two more months to get PR card and then travel to home country.
I would prefer 2nd option. As anyone here did that? Is it OK to do that?
