I came to Canada on an ICT closed work permit.
I worked for the Canadian legal entity (Canadian child company of the parent company) for 1+ years and submitted my PR 2 weeks ago under CEC. I have also received my AoR. Now I have been transferred back to India effective immediately.
I have claimed 50 points for the job offer as well.
If I lose my 50 points then my scores become very low, even with a good celpip score.
There is a slight possibility that I may come back on the Canadian payroll.
What happens now ?
Should I update IRCC about this change ?
How late can I inform IRCC about the change in circumstances?
Will I lose my 50 points ?
Will my PR get rejected ?
I asked 4 immigration consultants about this.
3 of them said you need to update but once submitted your PR won't be affected at all. 50 points won't be removed.
One of them said quite confidently that once you update IRCC your points will be deducted and pr will 100% be rejected.
Can someone please help me out on this with some real life examples ?
