Good day to you!
I have a few concerns regarding about my PR.. The situation is me and my husband has been separated for like almost 5yrs and we never leave together. I enter Canada as a single and i did not included him in my application for PR.
My question is.. Will it affect my status here if ever the immigration find out about my real marital status because I'm planning to file an annulment in Philippines soon..
Hope to hear any answer from you..
Thanks

Yes, if they find out you can be in trouble.

Will they find out without you having to go to them? I doubt.

Thanks for that information.. I have a follow up question:
How does it affect my PR if they found?
What are the consequences?
Are they going to deport me going back to my country?

Hope to hear answers from you..
Thanks

When you said you were single when you were really married, you lied. Lying on your PR application is called misrepresentation. It can cause you to lose your PR and get deported if they find out.
