It's likely not fully updated.

Decision made on the principal applicant side means AIP.

Before getting AIP, you should receive SA, which is shown by decision made on the sponsor side.

So my understanding is that the sponsor is already approved and the PA is approved in principle. You'll likely receive emails confirming SA and AIP. And you could also receive soon a DM letter. Some people in the 2015 inland thread never received letters for SA and AIP, they got directly a DM letter. If you don't receive any email from CIC on Tuesday, I would suggest you to call the call center on Wednesday.

In our case, we got AIP on 4 May 2017, then we got SA on 15 May 2017.

Under ECAS ours displays the following:

Sponsorship Application says "Decision Made"
Permanent Resident Application says "Application Received"

In My CIC this is what is currently displayed:

Application status We received your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.

Review of eligibility We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.

Review Medical results You passed the medical exam.

Additional documents Not applicable.

Interview You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.

Background check We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

Final decision Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once a final decision has been made.

Mine says same thing except my eligilibity had not started...neither has the medical been done.

They are processing my background check since April 27. I called them and they said all they are waiting for now is feedback from RCMP and CBSA so that they can request the medical next.
I didn't do the medical upfront because sometimes they expire after a year and if my file foes longer than a year then they request you to do it again. My app is a bit complicated so most likely it will take longer than a year that's why I held back my medical.

I don't know why, but CIC is not always updating their systems, whether it's ECAS or the "mycic" account.

My ECAS (Sponsor) shows decision made on both sides since March 20, 2017 and we got SA and AIP on that same day. Then DM on March 21, 2017. On May 12th, we got the landing appointment letter, and my wife will land this Friday, May 26th. But look, this is the "mycic" account of my wife:

So even having SA, AIP, DM and landing appointment in hands, the mycic status still states that they are reviewing the eligibility and that they are processing background checks...

For sure, I will post in the 2015 inland thread when we will be back in Quebec city. We will go to Montreal Thursday evening, I did not want to take the risk of being stack in the traffic to enter on Montreal Island Friday morning. We booked a Hotel close to the CIC office, so I will be able to leave my car parked at the hotel during the landing interview.

is it approved or not

What Carol posted is a landing interview which is what you'll receive after the decision made email. Which is simply just saying they've completed the processing of
Your application. give it a few days or if not call them. However landing interviews email are being sent around 6-8 weeks if in Toronto or Montreal at the moment.

Yup they don't update the systems regularly. Most times you won't get info unless you speak to an actual person or they send you mail.

I am still waiting for S.A.and AIP . I called did and they said they both can anytime during the process ...can even come towards the ending of the process.

I've seen some get it within 7 days and others even 2 weeks. So give it 3 weeks or if not give them a call.

I'm still waiting on any communication. I called after we talked last week. So seven days over here and NO email of any sort. But I know I was approved because that's what I was told when I called.

OP I don't know where u are, hopefully you get a response soon....but like I said I've been waiting a week now and nothing so if you are nervous I would just call.
