PR sponsoring wife and kids to come to Canada (URGENT!!!)

Hi,

In May 2016 I applied both for PR Card renewal and Sponsorship of wife+kids while in Canada. In June I came back to this county XXX to visit my family. PR Status was renewed in November 2016 and got a PRTD, which will expire in May 2017.

In August 2016 I received a confirmation from IRCC/CIC that my sponsorship is approved and the PR application of my wife/kids are sent to Visa Office in Warsaw.

My questin is, since I have been here abroad since June 2016, how will this affect my wife/kids application for PR? Do i need to urgently go back or wait for their application to get processed and then go together? I am still here with them...

To sponsor your family, you must be living in Canada since you are PR. Short trips outside of Canada are fine (e.g. three weeks). Anything beyond that and you're risking a refusal.

If you have been outside of Canada since June 2016, it's quite likely your sponsorship application is going to be refused. You should return to Canada as soon as possible and remain there if you want any chance of the application being approved. If you return asap, you may get lucky and CIC may not refuse your application. However generally speaking, you should be expecting the application to be refused given how long you've been outside of Canada. You've failed to meet one of the basic requirements to sponsor.
