Hi Guys,
I have just completed a year of living and working in Canada having come from Ireland in August 2012.
I work as a Carpenter in Alberta.
I would like to bring my wife, child and our second (Un-born) child to Canada ASAP.
I am wondering if the 'Canadian Experience Class' would be my best option, I believe I also qualify under the 'Federal Skilled Programme'
I am tired of being so far away from my family and am looking to get them here as quickly as I can.
My English Exam is done so I am ready to start the application.
Any advice on how to proceed would be most welcome.

Thanks,
Simon. :)

Give your are eligible under CEC and FSW, two reasons to apply under CEC rules:
Processing times: 12 months CEC vs 15 months FSW
No cap for your occupation (under FSW they accept 100 applications / year for certain trades, and I believe 'carpenter' falls into thatcategory).

Don't forget to apply for your police clearance certificates from any country in which you or your dependents lived 6 months or more.

Good luck!

That clears things up a bit.
Thanks a lot Natinthehat ;)
