It depends on what you are doing. If you are working as a live-in caregiver, you can apply for PR after 2 years. If you have a skilled job, you can apply after working for 1 year.

You will need all sorts of documents for your application background checks. You will need your police clearance from the Philippines to show that you don't have a criminal record.
