PR Renewal

I applied for renewal of PR Card and before I received PR i travelled outside of Canada and this was notified to PR Card processing center. The PR renewal card centre stopped processing my application and advised me to apply for travel document to come to Canada. Why they have stopped processing the PR Application, What should I do?

A PR application must originate within Canada but actually it is not a requirement that you yourself must be in Canada in order to renew your PR card. I think the processing centre has been a bit overzealous to stop your processing but there isn't much you can do about that. Just apply for a travel document when you are ready to return and when you return, advise them to continue the processing.
