all,

does any one have experience renewing his pr card without sending copies of his old passport?
my current passport covers last 2 years but I travelled a few months in the summer and thus does not fully account for the total period - old passport is lost.
my kids were all born in Canada - does this help as proof of residence? can people of similar experience share? what is the best way to avoid RQ while renewing the pr cars?

In my opinion you need to enclose police report of lost document as a minimum.

do we need to report to police an expired passport? mine was mis-placed and I do not know where it is. how can I report to police? it expired 2 years ago

Anyone aware of getting pr renewed without copies of old passports? Are they picky about?

Does having a kid in school and other kids born in Canada a proof for residence?

You need to report the expired one, if lost or misplaced in Canada. You can tell the police you need to submit the report to Canadian immigration for PR card renewal, they understand all these matters very well.

Do you have any other proof of your physical presence in Canada ideally a full time job in the 730 days? Having Canadian born kids is in itself not conclusive evidence of your physical presence other than a short time either side of the birth. If you have little in the way of evidence expect an RQ.
