Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but I have worked for the same employer for well over 5 years. Am I supposed to just give them a start date of exactly 5 years from date of application? Or is it ok to give them the true start date of employment, which goes back several years?
Regarding the “application date”. Do we use the date we actually submit the application? I ask because right now I’m having to go by today’s date for it to allow me to advance to each page, but it could be another month before I am ready to submit. Which, I assume, means I will have to go back in and correct the “application date” In several areas.
