I am writing this to share my case as I hope someone will find it helpful.
I applied my PR on Dec 22, 2023 (NB PNP Express Entry). Everything went pretty quickly at first, I got my biometrics done in Feb 2024 and my medical was extended and approved in Mar 2024 (I didn't have to do it again).
Then there was a long silence since Mar. I contacted my MP after the processing time passed 6 months, IRCC said my application was marked as non-routine and therefore doesn't have a processing timeline. The day after my MP reached out to IRCC, I received my refusal letter. The officer concluded my NOC was under TEER 4 rather than TEER 3 as claimed in my application.
My lawyer had prepared a reconsideration request with explanation letters from myself and my employer and fortunately, they reopened my application. It has now been approved and I have received my ECoPR.
It has been a very frustrating and stressful journey but it is finally over. If someone is going through the same thing as I did, don't lose your hope. Best of luck to the ones who are waiting for PR.
