We family of 4 i.e myself age 45/my wife 43 and two kids, elder daughter age 17 and younger son age 15 got PR in year Mar 2014 and landed first time in Canada in Jun 2014 and stayed there for 30 days at my brother's home who is already settled there and having citizenship of Canada.

In Jun 2015 I have shifted my wife and kids in Canada and enrolled my kids to school in grade 9 and grade 11 and wife also started doing some one year course for child care.

My wife and kids is there and likely to complete their stay required for PR and also to acquire citizenship however my PR requirement is unlikely to be met.

I would like to join them after the age of 50 as at 50 years I will be eligible for Early Retirement Scheme in my job in my home country and would leave my job with all the benefits and join with my family in canada.

My question is that how I will maintain my PR or any other way so that I will join my family at the age of 50 permanently ?
I have heard that sometimes they wont allow you to enter or settle if you do not able to maintain your PR stay requirement.

Pl guide and suggest me suitable,I will be highly thankful to you.

So this looks like same question same dates same early retirement scenario ? http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/pr-residency-obligation-t413790.0.html

Maybe in hindsight you should have delayed landing until last time for entry Feb/Mar 2015 when assume you might have reached age 46 then the 5 years would have taken you past 50 and whilst you still would not have met the residency you would have been back in Canada before the 5 years were up and then could have stayed in for 2 years without leaving. You might still have been questioned by CBSA about residency but after the 5 years things get far more complicated entering Canada as your PR card would have expired and you would probably need a travel document demonstrating residency to even board a plane to return. As a PR still you could not even apply for an ETA at that time either and as PR not even a visa. Guess depends what is more important being with family , possibly losing PR or gaining a financial advantage, something that may or may not happen. Maybe need to seek professional immigration advice as opposed to a public forum. Others can correct me if I am wrong as this is complex situation
