PR proof of funds while living in Canada

My girlfriend and I moved to Canada on our work permit, with our PR application still pending.
If PR gets approved, do we still have to show our proof of funds? Even tho we already work and live here?

You need to make sure you maintain proof of funds until you are approved. Sometimes IRCC will ask for updated bank statements during the process and you want to make sure you meet the cut off until you're approved for PR.
