I believe my Permanent Residency is on its final months, it's been processing for 2.5 years. But I have a huge huge huge problem. Due to complications at home (USA) with my family, I need to go home (Personal Reasons). It really frustrates me that the process is almost complete, and I've spent all this time waiting, but I can't wait anymore. I remember reading somewhere that if you have an application processing and you are in Canada, you can't leave or else it will be denied. Is this true? Is there anyway around this since it's an emergency? If not, I still have to go home. And I will just have to start this process all over again
