Hi everyone,

I'm currently exploring my PR options and would appreciate your insights based on my profile below:

Age: 29

Marital Status: Single

Education:

3-year Bachelor's (WES verified – India)

2-year Canadian post-secondary diploma

Work Experience:

3 years international experience (TEER 1–3)

1 year Canadian experience (TEER 3)

Language Scores:

English: CELPIP – CLB 9 in all 4 sections

French: Planning to write TEF Canada – aiming for CLB 5 in all 4 areas

Job Offer: No LMIA job offer

PNP/Relatives in Canada: No PNP or sibling in Canada

Given this profile:

What are my chances in general Express Entry vs. French-language category draws?

Is CLB 5 in French sufficient to unlock additional PR pathways like FCIP or Francophone PNPs?

Should I aim higher in French (CLB 7+) for better chances?

Any feedback, similar success stories, or suggestions would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Prashanth

Likely not enough.

How many points do you have under EE?

You need CLB7 to unlock French pathways.

Okay can you please let me what are the possible pr path ways, with my current details and what other things should I have to work to get into the current possible pr path ways.

Getting CLB7 in French would certainly open pathways.

Otherwise it depends on your NOC and province.

CLB5 to CLB7 is actually the difficult jump to make. Focus on your weakness that you saw coming through in TEF/TCF/whatever you gave and you can get through in a couple of months with CLB7.
