Good problem to have, but seeing conflicting advice throughout various forums.
I just got the first PR portal email today asking me to confirm information of myself and dependents. I am an inland CEC candidate and present in Canada as of today, with a valid work permit. I am leaving Canada tomorrow by air for a wedding in the US and continuing onto the UK from there, ultimately returning to Canada on July 11th. If I respond to this email today (they're asking for a response within 7 days), I am worried my eCOPR will be issued, my work permit will be nullified, and I will not have a PR card or a PRTD in time for my return trip).
Is it better to submit the email tomorrow when I am not present in CA which will ultimately affect my landing back in Canada, or am I fine to travel away having said I am physically in CA at time email was sent, and apply for a PRTD while I am away.
Can I return to Canada under implied visitor status with my US passport from a UK airport?
Tough timing but looking for some advice.
Thanks!
