PR points - working for US firm in Canada

Hi, I am living in Canada Toronto on open work permit and offered a IT job from a US based company. I will be a individual contractor and has to file my own taxes.
Will my experience will be counted for PR points?

You can count this as work experience, but only as foreign work experience not Canadian work experience towards CEC.

Ok, But will i get work experience points for my express entry score? Also, If I go through a PEO company in Canada to handle all my taxes and payroll, will that work?
