I had my pics done in the UK here they don't date stamp the pics as they do in Canada ie London drugs or wallmart and so on


I doubled checked and on the photo spec sheet it didn't have the box to say pics have to be dated.

You will see what I mean if you view the photos that you have to supply for a PR card it has a square box by the pic spec for the photo to be dated.


I've sent my photos undated - In the Western Europe guide doesn't have anything about pics being dated or stamped?


Confused and now worried I might have messed up. will my application be returned ?

You need to follow your regional guide and check list for the requirements.

If the guide/checklist does not ask for dated photos, there is no need.

If they are very particular of dated photos, the visa office may ask you to submit new photos.

Some times, before processing your PR card you could get a request for new photos. But, I don't think about the possibility of rejection only for this silly reason.

I've checked my Western Europe region for London

and no checklist asks for the pics to be dated.. I guess I'm being confused with everyone else
so much info on the forum and people from all over the globe.


Can't help to think I may have messed something up

Sent my app yesterday and I didnt date any. Also from the uk.

I think I even included 9 pictures. Woops. Oh well, one for the IO' s wallet if that's what they're into!

I went to the London office it's 10 mins away from my home

Lined up and once inside I asked a member of staff there who then called and asked her manager


we don't need to date our photos - you only have photos dated when you send photos for the PR card
