PR path from TFW

Hi All,

I am a newbie!!!
I would like to know the best PR path for a TFW. I will land in Canada in Sept this yr. I fall under skilled category. My LMO was only meant for TFW and I got it around March.

Only thing I have is offer letter from employer(as per PR requirements). LMO is +ve, but not for PR(Only for TFW).
Can I right away apply for PR? Best case, if I apply in Oct or Nov 2014, I will only have 2 months of experience in Canada and an expired TFW LMO(almost 7-8 months old).

Please suggest

So, that means no experience is required in Canada for filing a PR application provided I have a permanent, non-seasonal, full time valid job offer from employer. Even, LMO(or LMIA) is not required.

Even I read the same article in CIC website(which is more genuine and reliable) . But, when I went through the below content, I was confused. I was not able to post the link directly as I think I am not allowed(being a newbie)

I read in the one of the article the below content -

Federal Skilled Worker Program – temporary foreign workers that have at least one year of experience working in any occupation in Canada and who score 67 points as required by Citizenship and Immigration Canada can apply in this class. Temporary foreign workers also must have a valid IELTS score and police clearances (or at the least applied for police clearances) from all countries they have worked in for more than 6 months prior to submitting their permanent residency application form for processing. Once the application form is accepted and the Citizenship and Immigration Canada office has determined that your application qualifies, the temporary foreign worker will have 120 days to submit original permanent residency applications and all supporting documents to the Canadian Embassy/High Commission. There will be no extensions and therefore all documents must be in order prior to applying for permanent residency.

So, the sentence in the above link "Federal Skilled Worker Program – temporary foreign workers that have at least one year of experience working in any occupation in Canada " is wrong. Isn't it?

You're right, in the Federal Skilled Workers Program, you need one year of experience in the occupation you apply under - and it doesn't matter whether the experience was obtained inside or outside Canada. The CIC website is your best source of information on the eligibility requirements.

You said you already have a positive LMO for a skilled position, meaning NOC 0, A or B. So, after you begin working in Canada, if your employer wants to support your PR application, you don't need another LMO. You can just get a job offer letter indicating permanent employment from your employer and add that to your PR application. This will allow you to claim arranged employment points (15 toward the minimum 67). Again, check the CIC website for specifics.
