Hi,
I have been a silent member of this excellent forum for a while and I'm in dire need of some information.
I'm on PGWP which expires by mid-2024. I'm eligible to apply for PR under CEC with a year of work experience. I'm getting married early next year and would like to know the best course of action to bring my wife to Canada quickly and legally. I have the following questions. It would be much appreciated if someone could point me to the right page of this forum or provide me with the answers. TIA
1. Is IRCC processing inland applicant + outland dependent PR applications now i.e. after July 2022?
2. Any idea about the timeline?
3. Is bringing your spouse on an Open Work Permit with PGWP faster than with PR?
4. Once I have applied for PR for both of us (point 1), can I apply for a visitor visa for her to visit me while the PR application is getting processed? Is it safe to do so or will it cause a rejection?
Any other useful suggestions on the best course of action will be appreciated.
