PR/landed July 2012

Hi ,

my boyfren got his PR/Landing approval in July 2012 and hi spr card in Sept. He received it while in Canada , how long after receiving it can he file for a spouse (we plan on getting married in the next 9mths)???

Assuming he landed as an economic immigrant (skilled worker, CEC, investor, entrepreneur) he can apply to sponsor any time after he lands and gets married. I assume you didn't qualify as common-law (living together for a year) prior to his landing, right?

i'm in another country but he waas in canada overstayed his visa but filed under reunification cus he has a bunch of family there father, sisters,brother,cousins,uncle etc....

There's no minimum time then. He can sponsor whenever he wishes to do so. As a PR, he must be living inside Canada and remain resident in Canada throughout the sponsorship.
