Hi all. I have become a PR in Québec. Landed, cards, everything. Just this month. Now I have an academic job offer in... BC. From an immigration point of view, should I stay in Québec? What are the risks, should I go to Vancouver instead? I heard a rumor that while it is not against the letter of the law, it goes against the spirit of it; and thus the authorities could give us a hard time later (at renewal or naturalization), because we didn’t try to settle in Québec. Happy to hear people’s thoughts on the matter.
