PR in Canada

I am B.Tech IT student , and want to do MS in Computer science in CANADA ,
so in what time i can get permanent residence of Canada ?
In what time period i can apply for it? and while living in Canada during my MS , if i visit India then how expensive it is ? will it effect in getting PR ?

You have to figure out what immigration class you qualify under, see http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/index.asp It is possible that you can apply under the provincial nominee program of the province where you study but maybe you have to wait until you graduate and have a job offer. If you study for 2 years and work for 1, you can apply under Canadian experience class.

If you visit India, it will not affect your PR except if you are looking to qualify under Canadian experience class, need one year of work to apply and your visit is delaying you from passing that point.
