hi,

We are living out Canada in this time.

my spouse did not continue his high school in his country.

he knows French very well.
he has the Desire in studying the literature
he is 36 years old.

if we come back to Canada.
how he can start to study? is the school do test for him to see which level or class should be?
if he pass the exam can he go to university or start college directly?

I do not have any any idea how he can start in studying again in Canada.
what steps they will start with him?

is there any good courses in schools or colleges ( a few months of studying- 6 , 16 , 20 months..etc... ) to find good job in future?

Any advice or suggestions in his case how he can start or help to start ( new study ) ..!

thank you a lot.

Pre-Assessed..
I think he need to get at least a high school diploma. Anyways, go through all the Canadian universities and colleges websites and look if he can apply as mature student.

You can go to community service centres such as S.U.C.C.E.S.S to find info about getting the high school diploma.

You can always do a high school equivalency and go for some diploma or certification after that

I believe also the best step as well, once going to Canada. we must go to new comer centers or any Canada -service centers . and tell them about his skills and desire to study and how they can help. no doubt they can give us the thread for the first step for this..!

any way, wanted just to got an idea about this.
thanks.

Visit one of the newcomer and community service centres are a good idea.
