Hello everyone,

I am new to this forum and really glad that I found this platform. To introduce myself, I am from India, and currently pursuing my MBA from a reputed (Top 30) university in USA. I know that the reputation holds little value to the Canadian landscape. Prior to my MBA, I was working as an IT Consultant and have 7 years of work experience.
I (dependent) and my wife (Primary applicant) received our PR last November, and have to travel to Canada before July this year. My question is:
1) As a dependent, do I need to apply for any work permit?
2) How do I create a job bank profile? The express entry profile number is linked to my wife's account.

Thank you for your valuable time.
BR.

1. Once you go to Canada and do the landing, you become a PR and you don't need a permit to work.
2. Job bank is useless, so don't waste your time on it.Use websites such as Linked In to hunt for jobs.
Good Luck!
