June 18 we received an email from officer asking us to provideour new work permit he gave us 1 week which is till June 25 to provide the work permit, but our consultant asked him if he can extend the time frame to 2nd week of July instead of June 25, 2nd week of July came and still waiting for the work permit so he refused it. The current processing time of work permit inside Canada is 106 days and we are on 112 days because it started March 27. Anyway our pathway to pr is Alberta opportunity stream.
So my question is can we apply for reconsideration once we get the work permit? From the date we received the refusal how long do we have to apply for appeal or reconsideration? I know that the requirements is we should have work permit the time they will assess it, but given that he gave us extended time frame maybe there is any way we can apply for reconsideration? Thank you
