PR Daughter stay outside Canada

Hi everyone.. just need some more infos..my daughter stayed here in Canada for almost 2 years and now decided go back in our homeland and study there until she finish her studies. my question is can she still come back here in Canada if she will gone for more than 2 years? Thanks!

She needs to spend 2 years out of 5 in Canada. If she is out of country for more than 3 years she risks being reported for RO. Given it’s her choice to go to school outside of Canada, an H&C claim if she is reported would likely fail and she would loose PR status.

Your Daughter may not meet the RO (730days stay here in Canada), but you can still (try) apply to renew her PR Card. Just state the reason why she's out here in Canada. God luck!

Won't help. If she stays out of Canada for studying purposes, that is her choice. Immigration will not see that as a valid reason.
We have plenty of good schools in Canada..

There’s no harm in trying to apply for renewal since the daughter already stayed here in Canada for almost 2years (she just needs to comeback here to meet the 730days). And there’s always a valid and good reason why she needs to study in their homeland like for scholarship/insurance purposes. Have a great day!
