PR card when out of Canada

Hi,

I have just got immigration and I intend to land in Calgary in March 2015. However, I have some domestic issues due to which I will come back to my home country after one month. If PR is received later then my friend will courier it to me. I need to know whether this is ok and will it pose any problem?

Yes - your friend can courier the card to you. No - no issues.

No issue as long as your Friend receive PR card but if CIC call you to pick up the card then you need to apply for TD to come back to Canada and pick up the card.

What is TD?

A TD is a travel document. If you are outside Canada without a PR card, you can apply for a PR travel document through the Canadian embassy where you are.
