PR Card stuck in USA customs

Hello everyone,

My wife is in USA, I have sent her PR canada via Canada postal service (express post), expected to delivery in 5 business days. It has reached USA customs on sep'29th, its been 5days still no update on my package.

Status of my package:
Inbound Into Customs
Your item is being processed by United States Customs.

Did any one faces same issue?

how many days it will take for customs to release my package?

If they release it, it shouldn't be too long.
However, the use of Canada Post to send PR cards is strongly discouraged. You should have used DHL or FedEx instead.

I used FEDEX priority but my card is also stuck since 2 days. I was supposed to get it on Saturday but have seen no updates since it arrive in the US.

Yes I got my card in 10days. It was there with customs for a week.

Hello, My brother mailed my Canada PR card via UPS and now it is stuck with US customs. Its been 5 days and there is no update, called UPS customer service and they said they cannot do anything in this.
UPS status says - "The package is in a secure facility pending clearance or resolution. "

any idea how long Customs will take?, I dont want to Loose cards.
