PR Card soft landing

I'm doing soft landing from India in June this year. My queries are:
1. When I land and do the formalities for the PR card, what all will they ask? Should I tell them about the soft landing, that I'm going back now? I'm planning to give a friend's address for PR card, should I tell them it is my friend's house, and not mine. My friend will then bring the PR card over to India.
2. When the card arrives on the given address, how much time does it take? And how does it come, does CIC personnel bring it, or is it courier?
3. What if my friend is not able to bring the PR card back from Canada, I heard about this PRTD. Does this work?

1 - The fact that you are soft landing is irrelevant, they won't ask nor would they care. You can provide your friend's address.
2 - Couple weeks or so.
3 - Yes, it does.
