Did you stay 2 out of last 5 years in Canada? You can not renew PR card from outside canada. You need to apply from within canada and need to provide canada address for Card delivery.
I also have similar prob... My frnd has PR card expiring on march 2016 right now he is in india...But his 5 years are over and he ddidn't stayed for 2 years in canada. But visited canada every year for 1 minth or so... Now does he eligible to claim his PR or not...
You need to stay 2 out of 5 years in Canada to retain your PR status. Also you need to renew PR card from Canada and provide Canada address for card delivery. If you are outside Canada call CIC at 613.944.4000 for details.
