Maybe someone here can share his/her experience. I submitted my PR card renewal application in August 2014, CIC started the process in January 14, 2015 and sent a letter the day after (January 15) saying that my application was accepted and now it is under second review and there would be a delay. Since I already purchased a flight ticket to go back to my country in April, I sent an urgent processing request and got accepted. The email said that they already notified CPC in Sidney to accelerate the process. Just for the record, I meet the residency requirements.
I've been waiting for an answer since January, and no news from CIC so far. I called CIC call centre last Monday March 16, 2015 asking for an update but the agent only told me that a decision has not been made yet. His advice was to call next week to see if there is a change in my process.
Does anyone know how long does this process take when the application is under second review?
